Description
An elegant antique five-light brass chandelier, circa 1920, found in a home in Chicago, IL. The chandelier begins with an elegant canopy which comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial. An open framework hung with icicle prisms descends to form the chandelier body; a playful floral sprig “blooms” within the framework. Five serpent-like arms extend out to support downward facing bobeches, their leafy borders hung with sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged brass finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 22” wide by 20-3/4” tall, and is 38-3/4” long overall.
