Description
An elegant antique five-light Neoclassical chandelier with prisms, dating from the early 1900s. This two-tone chandelier begins with an understated canopy and works its way down in a chain to a decorative loop finial. The finial perches above a slim brass and silver-plate light body, ornamented with roping, stylized flowers, and volutes. Five S-shaped arms extend from the middle of the chandelier body to support sleek grooved bobeches, each hung with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. The fixture finishes in a smooth glass ball suspended the bottom of the lamp body. This light fixture is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 20-5/8″ wide, 22″ tall, and 40-5/8″ long overall.
