Description
These are awe-inspiring three matching Gothic Revival iron lanterns that originally hung in the Hiway Theater in Pennsylvania. They date to the 1920’s and have a fabulous patina. The lanterns have a punched dome-shaped top crowned by a large hook finial which is bound by four hand forged C-shaped rods. Two circular bands detailed with a row of arches are joined together by four twisted rods accented at the top with large stylized, skillfully cast, fleur-de-lis. The iron frames house the original custard colored cylinders that cast a marvelous light. The lanterns are in excellent condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass. They have been professionally rewired, and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 10 ½”, the length of the lantern only is 37 ½”, and the overall length is 60”. THE PRICE IS FOR ONE LANTERN; THERE ARE THREE LANTERNS AVAILABLE.
