Description
This is a fabulous pair of antique Tudor double-arm riveted sconces in their original nickel plated finish, dating from the 1920’s. The sconces are signed by their maker, Lion Co. Each back plate is crowned with a Tudor arch with a brass quatrefoil below. A hammered arm extends from the back plate, meeting a horizontal bar that supports a bobeche on each end and a cast fleur-de-lis in the center. The crenellated bobeches are accented with alternating quatrefoil and diamond cutouts, and each is finished with a riveted ring finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired, and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They are 8 ¼” tall, 10 ½” wide and project 4 ½” from the wall.
