Description

A marvelous pair of antique double-arm sconces with their original polychrome finish, dating from the early 1900’s. Each sconce is crowned with a flaming torch and features a backplate ornamented with a flowing foliate design and polychrome accents; the pointed backplate is surrounded by a roped border. Two arms extend from the bottom of the back plate to support leafy candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 10” tall, 13-5/8” wide, and project 3-1/4” from the wall.
