Description
A splendid pair of antique exterior Tudor sconces, dating from the 1920’s and salvaged out of a home in Knoxville, TN. Each wall lamp begins with a beveled, oval backplate; the four-sided lantern body affixes directly to it. The lantern is crowned with a tall, pyramidal roof with linear, teardrop details; the body below features a pierced and stylized “X” design which allows its textural, granite glass panes to peek through. Each sconce finishes in a band of roping and crenellated detailing. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged patina and no cracks or breaks to the glass. The lanterns have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 12-1/8” tall, 5-1/2” wide, and projects 6” from the wall. There is a coordinating ceiling fixture available under NC3521-RW.
