These astounding, early 1900’s, four-light, iron and brass lanterns are awe-inspiring as it is next to impossible to find so many identical antique lighting fixtures in such superb condition. The lanterns display a steel frame in a faded black and silver finish with six twisted iron rods that are adorned with foliate-designed, cast brass spires. Each of the six panels are fitted with granite glass and ornamented with beautifully cast and riveted trefoil brass plaques at the top and bottom of all panes. Each lantern meets the chain at a beautiful curled hammered iron cluster which is festooned with a large cast trefoil top finial. For convenience, each piece has a hinged bottom panel of ribbed-glass making the replacement of bulbs trouble-free. The light fixtures are in excellent condition, and have been professionally rewired. They come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
