This is a gorgeous antique brass Neoclassical single-light chandelier with its original fabulous opaline glass shade, dating to the early 1900’s. The chandelier features a sleek brass canopy, which comes down to a brass ball. Three elegant hooks extend from the ball, each attached to an unusually shaped chain. The chains support a beautiful opaline shade, featuring a flared, scalloped egg-and-dart border. Below the border, the shade is ornamented with a Greek key pattern. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shade is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rim. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is 16” wide, the length of the pendant body only is approx. 15 ½”, and the overall length is approx. 37 ½”.
