Description
This rare pair of antique Arts and Crafts lantern-type exterior sconces, circa 1900, is constructed of hand-forged iron and features hand-riveted latches and hinges. The sconces are composed of a cage-like, hand-riveted frame, which supports amber slag glass panels. The top of the frame is accented with an inverted V, and the bottom of the frame features a crenellated edge. These sconces would be a superb addition to any Craftsman bungalow, cottage, or Tudor. The wall lamps are in excellent condition, and have no cracks or breaks to the textured amber slag glass. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 12 ¾” tall, 8 ¾” wide, and protrude 4 ¼” from the wall.
