This is a stunning antique cast brass six-light Art Deco chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, with its original polychrome finish with green accents. The chandelier begins with a fantastic canopy ornamented with ziggurats and geometric detail, coming down in a chain to a square loop final with Greek key corners. The chandelier body is supported by five intricately cast brass pieces with a geometric design. The chandelier features a green frame with eye-catching Art Deco detail supporting translucent white glass panels with a light inside. Addorsed zigzag pieces run down each edge of the chandelier. Each arm supports a cutout sunburst bobeche with a green base and a hanging finial, and the bottom of the chandelier finishes in intricate foliate and ziggurat detail with a dangling loop finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20” wide and 20” tall, and the fixture is 38” long overall. The matching sconces, item # NSP305 (pictured), are listed separately.
