Description

This is a magnificent antique exterior bronze sconce, circa 1905, with its original opalescent glass. The lantern begins with a large bronze knob on a cone-shaped top, with crown-like trefoil detail below. Bronze bands run down the lantern, supporting the gorgeous opalescent glass. The sconce finishes in a cutout trefoil band with an inverted cone and a ball finial at the bottom. This wall lamp is in excellent condition with a lovely patina, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconce is 19” tall, 6” wide, and has a 9” projection. This sconce is suitable for either interior or exterior use.
