This is a wonderful antique five-light iron chandelier, circa 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a twisted loop finial, below which five bent and curled bands come down to form the chandelier body. The chandelier arms, formed of intricately cast brackets with scrolling foliate detail, attach to a wide hammered ring. Between each arm is a splendid cast iron appliqué with a stylized palmette design. The bottom of the chandelier is finished in a hammered finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20” wide and 20 ½” tall, and the fixture is 37 ½” long overall.
