Description
This is a fabulous pair of antique double-arm Georgian mirrored sconces, in their original silver plate, circa 1910, with icicle prisms. Each sconce features a sleek oval backplate with a mirror. At the base of the sconce is a rectangular arm receiver bowl with a gadrooned finial; sleek S-curved arms emerge from the arm receiver bowl to support silver plated wax pans and candle cups ornamented with a foliate pattern. Each wax pan is hung with five icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 11 ¾” tall, 7 ½” wide, and project 5” from the wall.
