Description
These are a regal pair of sconces retaining the original stunning darkened silver and black finish, which were made by Toledo Co. in the 1930’s. These sconces display a hammered, shield-style back plate adorned with a lion and ornamentation. Extending from the back plate is a very unique bobeche garlanded with crests and finished with a swirling stake. The wall lamps are in excellent condition and will easily accommodate any Spanish Revival, Tudor, or Gothic Revival décor. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces have the original antique candle-covers, but we can replace those with new if so desired. They are 9 ½” long, 8 ¾” wide and protrude 4” from the wall.
