Description
This is an amazing antique iron five-light chandelier with fleur-de-lis accents, circa 1910. The chandelier begins with a substantial hook with a twisted post, which comes down into a cast iron orb accented with a scallop pattern. A faux-hammered finial, formed of volutes, extends from the bottom of the orb. Five curved bands, ornamented with curled volutes, support a large ring from which extend the chandelier arms. Each arm, accented below by a fleur-de-lis, extends upward to support a cylindrical, riveted bobeche. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 20” wide, 13” tall (body only), and 29” long overall.
