Description

This is a wonderful pair of antique Tudor double-arm cast sconces in their original nickel plated finish, dating from the 1920’s. The back plate of each sconce features a fabulous hammered texture and is crowned with a trefoil. A hammered arm extends from the back plate, meeting a horizontal bar that supports a bobeche on each end and a cast fleur-de-lis in the center. The crenellated bobeches are accented with alternating quatrefoil and diamond cutouts, and each is finished with a twisting finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They are 9” tall, 10 ½” wide, and project 4” from the wall.
