This is an amazing antique Art Deco five-light chandelier, dating from the 1930’s. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with a geometric pattern and foliate detail, coming down in a chain to a loop with a geometric design. Five arms, each accented with a bold Art Deco circle motif, curve downward into the chandelier body. The body is formed of intricately cast panels, each featuring a striking design of volutes and foliate detail. Between each panel is a shade formed of four pieces of glass. The underside of the chandelier is ornamented with a geometric foliate design, coming down into a gadrooned section, which finishes in a dangling finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier body measures 17” wide and 22 ¼” tall; the fixture is 37 ½” long overall.
