This is a beautiful antique wedding cake tiered chandelier with its original, unusual crystal prisms. Circa 1910, this four-light chandelier begins with an intricate leaf-and-dart canopy, coming down in a chain to a cast brass volute loop finial. Below the finial, five brass volutes come outward to support the chandelier body, which features elegant brass swags that connect five oval laurel wreaths crowned with anthemia. Each wreath frames a gorgeous amber teardrop prism. Below, the chandelier has five tiers of sparkling crystal prisms and is finished at the bottom in a large, faceted crystal ball. The light fixture and its prisms are in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 14” in diameter and 24 ½” long, and the fixture is 40” long overall.
