Description

This is a splendid antique jeweled American stained glass window from the late 1800’s. The window features a spectacular semicircular floret design, with a vivid red center surrounded by amethyst hammered glass petals and brilliant red faceted jewels, on a background of clear ripple glass. Below the design is a pattern of diamond-shaped pieces of unusual amber Florentine glass, alternating with rare lilac floret jewels. The window is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass. The frame, which has been replaced, is also in excellent condition. It measures 51 7/8” wide and 26 ½” tall, with a frame 1 ½” thick. The glass measures 48” wide and 26 ½” tall.
