This is a fabulous antique Art Deco lantern, c. 1930’s. This one-light pendant begins with a canopy ornamented with foliate detail and ziggurats, coming down to a faux-riveted finial with a medallion in the center. The finial supports a star-shaped frame with white glass panels forming the lantern, with a sleek glass tube running the length of each edge. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The glass tubes are a little rough around the edges. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern measures 12” wide, 17 ¾” tall (body only), and 36 ¾” long overall.
