Description
This is a beautiful antique five-light crystal chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, with its original silver plate. The chandelier begins with a sleek silver plated loop finial, below which is a shallow, inverted cut crystal bowl hung with sparkling icicle prisms. Below, a splendid crystal baluster with a lattice pattern comes down into a silver plated bowl inside a cut crystal bowl. Smooth glass arms extend from the bowl, each supporting a cut crystal bobeche hung with icicle prisms. The chandelier finishes in a magnificent, faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with a minor chip (pictured), which is very hard to see. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21” wide and 25” tall, and the fixture is 42 ½” long overall.
