Description
This is a wonderful antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and made of iron and brass. The chandelier begins with a loop finial resting on a scalloped, hammered piece. Below, five hammered bands accented with volutes come down to support an large iron ring ornamented with cast brass appliqués. Between each appliqué is a chandelier arm with a scalloped brass bobeche. The underside of the chandelier body is beautifully ornamented with a foliate design. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a lovely patina; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21” wide and 21” tall, and the fixture is 37 ½” long overall.
