Description

This is an amazing pair of antique cast bronze hinges, made by Mallory, Wheeler, & Co., in their “Arabic” pattern, which was patented in 1889. These 4.5” ball-finial hinges feature a distinctive design of Arabic letters on a rippled background. The hinges are in good antique condition, with some wear in the center of the hinges (pictured) and some minor dings on two of the finials. Each hinge measures 4 ½” wide overall, 4 ½” tall, and 6” from finial to finial. Please note that since these are solid bronze, they may wear down over time if used with a heavy door and may be best as a collectible item.
