Description
This is a wonderful pair of antique single-arm cast bronze sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. Each sconce features a hexagonal hammered backplate with a foliate finial at the bottom; the top of the backplate angles outward to form a platform for the bobeche. The wide, shallow bobeche features a scalloped edge and the original candle cover. In front of the light, the sconces feature an intricate design of bronze vines, and the center of the vine is ornamented with flowers. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 16” tall, 4” wide, and project 4” from the wall.
