Description

These are two matching antique Spanish Revival pendant lights, circa 1920’s, in cast iron with their original polychrome finish. The pendants are signed by Eagle. Each pendant begins with an acanthus loop finial atop a cast iron disk ornamented with shields. Iron bands form a cage-like body. Each band is connected to the next by a magnificent polychrome shield surrounded by volutes and red and green acanthus leaves, ornamented at the top by a red polychrome crown. Each pendant finishes in a dangling shield finial with foliate accents. One pendant features dark green shields with gold accents; the other has cream-colored shields with gold accents. These light fixtures are in excellent condition. The chandeliers have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
