Description
This is a lovely pair of vintage, hand-crafted sconces. They are made of hand-hammered copper, have a great patina, and have a riveted construction. The sconces have rectangular, hand-hammered back plates, from which spring J-shaped arms which end in volutes. The lanterns are suspended from large rings and feature cone-shaped tops with scalloped edges, below which are four straps supporting a bottom plate. These would become a beautiful addition to any Tudor, Gothic Revival, Old World décor. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 14 ½” tall, 5 ½” wide, and protrude 7 ¾” from the wall.
