Description

This is a splendid antique Aesthetic Movement cast bronze door knob set, dating from the late 1800’s. The knob features a wonderful foliate design across the center, topped with a triangle adorned with a fan design and tiny, intricately cast geometric shapes. The bottom of the knob is adorned with a large fan shape, filled with a half sunburst and a triangle pattern, edged with scallops. A variation of the design is repeated on the back of each knob, separated from the front by a prominent ridge. This Eastlake knob set is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina. Each doorknob measures 2 3/8” in diameter and 2” deep.
