Description
This is a delightful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish with hints of red, blue, and green. It is signed by its maker, the Riddle Company. The chandelier features a faux-hammered canopy with red and green leaves, and comes down in a chain to a foliate loop finial atop a leaf-accented baluster. Below, the polychrome chandelier body is ornamented with leaf and volute detail. The leaves and volutes repeat in the bobeches, accented with delicate touches of color. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16 ½” wide and 14” long, and the fixture is 33” long overall.
