Description
This is a fabulous antique brass five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a hammered brass canopy, coming down to an intricate loop finial with a crest. Below the finial is a crenellated piece, below which smooth brass bands come down into a dome-like shape, meeting a wide hammered band. The chandelier arms, featuring stylized fleur-de-lis and torsade detail, are fastened to the band and come up to support crenellated bobeches with hammered finials. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20 ½” wide and 19 ½” tall, and the fixture is 38” long overall.
