This is a beautiful pair of antique pewter single-arm Neoclassical sconces with prisms, c. 1910, in their original silver plate. Each sconce features a black oval backplate with a beaded border, draped over the top with a garland. A silver plated volute arm with foliate and floral accents extends from the backplate to support a silver plated bobeche hung with icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 12 ½” tall, 4 ¾” wide, and project 5 ¾” from the wall.
