This is a wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces with their original milk glass shades, in their original silver plate over brass. Patent dated 1924, the sconces feature an oval backplate with a floral center and a torsade border, crowned with an acanthus cluster. Two reeded arms curve up from the base of the backplate to support sleek silver plated shade holders with milk glass shades ornamented with vertical geometric patterns. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 10 ½” tall, 11” wide, and project 5 ½” from the wall. A matching pair of sconces is available under item # NSP419-RW.
