Description

This is a beautiful pair of antique brass double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, with a beautifully aged dark patina. The sconces feature an oval back plate, accented in the center by a floret button surrounded by a lovely vine design on a textured background. The back plate is encircled by volute and foliate detail, and a pair of graceful U-shaped, fluted arm extends the sides of the back plate. Each arm supports an understated foliate bobeche that repeats the fluted look of the arms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They measure 8 ½” wide, 7 ¾” tall, and extend 5” from the wall.
