A wonderful antique fireplace mantel, dating from the 1920’s, and reclaimed from a home in Dayton, OH. Made and marked by the Robert Mitchell Furniture Company, the understated mantle is crowned with a beveled shelf, which is supported by five small corbels below. The mantel is in good antique condition; it has been painted white and has the expected wear along with a crack running down the right side (as pictured.) The mantel measures 66-1/4†tall, approx. 60†wide, and 10†deep; the firebox opening is approx. 47-3/4†wide and approx. 53-7/8†tall.
