A handsome antique boxed newel post, dating from the early 1900s, and reclaimed from a home in Philadelphia, PA. This boxed newel features bead-and-reel edges and egg-and-dart trim. It is in good antique condition with the expected wear including an extremely chippy finish, scratches, chips and scuffs (as pictured.) The newel post measures 8″ wide at its base, and 44-3/4” tall.
