Description
A handsome pair of antique Colonial Revival double-arm cast bronze sconces, signed by E.F Caldwell, and dating from the 1910s. Each sconce features a torch-shaped backplate crowned with a roped loop finial and finished with a beautifully cast tassel finial. Two arched arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support understated two-part bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 19-3/8” tall, 10-3/4” wide, and project 7” from the wall.
