A stunning pair of antique Art Deco pocket sconces, c. 1930’s, made and signed by Markel Electric Products. Each sconce features a textured backplate crowned with an acanthus cluster with a chevron below. Each sconce’s frame houses a trio of amber glass panels with stylized foliate and geometric details. Each sconce finishes in a cluster of overlapping leaves with a ziggurat below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in very good condition with the expected fleabites, including a small chip along one of the edges which does not detract from the beauty of the fixture (as pictured). We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 13-1/4” tall, 7” wide, and project 4-1/2” from the wall.
