Description

Striking antique bronze figural double-arm sconce pair by E.F. Caldwell, dating from the 1930’s. Each sconce features a circular back plate depicting a pastoral scene of a traditional Asian rice field farmer. Two smooth arms ascend upwards from the top of the backplate to support two-part bobeches and candles cups; a single sparkling zipper-cut prism suspends from each bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 11-5/8” tall, 8” wide and project 4-1/8” from the wall.
