A striking figural antique four-light cast iron chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Detroit, MI. The fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a small loop finial. From the loop, four twisted bands descend to support the thick ring style body below, embellished with lion medallions and swirling volutes; four lights in spiked bobeches sit perched around the perimeter of the hammered ring. The simplicity of this fixture would lend it to work with Tudor, Spanish Revival, or Gothic Revival homes. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 30-1/4″ in diameter (22″ wide square), 29″ tall, and 45″ tall overall. Due to the size of this fixture, it requires a custom shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
