A stunning pair of antique gilded bronze double-arm figural sconces with Wedgwood plaques, salvaged out of a home in Atlanta, GA. Dating from the early 1900’s, each sconce’s circular backplate is surrounded by a flowing design of bows and bellflowers. The center of the backplate features a “Wedgwood blue” porcelain plaque featuring an elegant Greek maiden in a contrapposto stance holding a scroll. Two understated arms reach from either side of the body to support foliate bobeches with stylized foliate accents. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 12-1/8” wide, 18-1/4” tall, and have a 7-1/2″ projection.
