A very unusual antique figural Arts and Crafts five-light chandelier with monks’ heads, c. 1905, salvaged out of Springfield, IL. This brass light fixture begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a short rod to a smooth sphere. Six chains extend from the sphere down to a wide circular band body; the brass band features the heads of grimacing monks. Below, each chain continues down to support sleek glass ball shades. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures approximately 25″ wide by 60″ long overall. This piece requires a freight shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
