Description

Wonderful antique five-light cast bronze chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and salvaged out of a home in Baltimore, MD. The figural Spanish Revival chandelier begins with a textured canopy, descending in chain to meet the open chandelier body below. Decorative cast bronze bands form the chandelier body and are interspersed with medallions ornamented with various nautical motifs, emphasized by original polychrome detailing. Five bracket-style arms extend from the body to each support a downward-facing exposed bulb. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 19-1/4” wide, 23-1/4” tall, and 35-1/2” tall overall.
