Description
A splendid pair of antique sconces in cast bronze, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Lexington, KY. These double-arm sconces begin with a slim backplate adorned with swagged foliates, bows, and crowned by a stylized urn. Two leafy arms curl upward from the bottom of each sconce and extend to support bobeches hung with sparkling “zipper-cut” prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 18-1/4” tall, 10” wide, and project 5″ from the wall.
