Description

Antique double-arm Neoclassical sconce pair, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. These cast bronze Neoclassical sconces begin with an arched backplate crowned with a leaf-and-dart band and flanked with understated columns; a convex oval with a beaded border ornaments the center. U-shaped arms with leafy embellishments extend from the oval to support beautifully cast two-part bobeches; spear prisms suspend below each leaf. The sconces are finished in an elegant palmette with a tassel finial suspended below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10-1/2″ wide, 13-1/4″ tall, and projects 5-3/8″ from the wall. There are coordinating sconces available under #NSP1103-RW.
