Description
A beautiful Neoclassical antique silver-plate over pewter chandelier, made by Lion Electric and dating c. 1921. The five-light fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial. Five smooth bands descend below the slim lamp body and curl outwards to affix to a ring-style outer band. Six downward-facing bobeches, each embellished with a sparkling prism, surround the perimeter of the band and hold the fixture’s exposed bulbs. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish (as pictured); it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 20-1/2″ wide, 19-1/2″ tall, and 35-1/4″ long overall (without the bulbs).
