Description
Striking antique double arm Tudor sconce pair, dating from the 1920s, and found in a home in Indianapolis, IN. These cast bronze wall fixtures begin with a shield-shaped backplate crowned with a decorative finial composed of a stylized pineapple and leaves. The hammered center of the backplate is encircled with roped detail and incised and raised volutes. Two curving arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support wax pans with complementary detailing. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 9″ wide, 13-7/8″ tall, and project 4-3/4″ from the wall.
