Description
A beautiful antique brass four-light chandelier, originally gas and now completely wired for electricity, salvaged out of a home in Concord, NH. Dating from the late 19th Century, the chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a twisted rod to meet an urn shaped center. Four curving arms with their original non-functioning gas keys extend upwards from the body to support acid-etched shades with a repeating design of cherubs, swags, and floral volutes. This light fixture is in excellent condition with the expected wear and a beautifully aged patina; the shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 26” wide and 29-5/8” long overall.
