Fabulous antique six-light Art Deco chandelier with original slip-in shades from 1931 and found in a home in Chicago, Illinois. Part of the Croydon series by Moe Bridges, this chandelier begins with a cast iron foliate detailed canopy and descends in chain to the body of the chandelier with crested bands. The body of the fixture features volute, acorn, and floral designs with column clusters between each slip shade. The original slipper shades display lattice work surrounding crested shields, and the chandelier finishes with the original bottom shade. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in very good condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabite around the edges (as pictured). The chandelier body measures 16″ wide, 18-1/4″ tall, and the fixture is 30″ long overall.
