A superb antique two-tone Art Deco slip shade chandelier by Markel, dating from the 1930’s. The three-light chandelier begins with a beautifully detailed canopy, coming down in a short rod and chain to meet an arched loop finial. The two-tone fixture below features clean lines and a stylized feather motif; the unusual frosted slipper shades feature floral detail and a scalloped border. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is in very good antique condition with some fleabites and small chips around the edges of the shades (as pictured). The chandelier measures 13” wide, 17” tall (body only,) and 31-1/2” tall overall.
