A magnificent antique five-tiered Neoclassical chandelier, dating from the 1920s, and found in a home in Cincinnati, OH. This brass “wedding cake” chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a chain to an intricate loop finial surrounded by a leafy crown hung with prisms. Finely ornamented arms curl down to support a band embellished with flowing volutes and foliates. Below, the chandelier continues in five tiers of sparkling icicle prisms, and is finished in a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 18-1/4” wide and 32-1/4” long; the fixture is 52-1/4” long overall.
