A magnificent antique five-tiered Neoclassical chandelier, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Philadelphia, PA. This 15-3/4 “wedding cake” chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a chain to meet a loop finial and small platform. A four arching rods descend from the platform to support the chandelier body below. The body is made up of a beautifully embellished band from which five tiers of sparkling “icicle” prisms suspend below; the light is finished in a faceted crystal ball beneath. This light fixture is in very good condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 15-3/4” wide, 25″ tall (body only) and the fixture is 41-1/4” long overall.
